CROSS DAY

This celebration is held every year, on the day of the cross, a procession is made with the Virgen del Transito, to thank the fruits that are received  an altar is made in the neighborhood La Cruz, and it is filled with fruits to thank God and the earth for the products it offers.  The pastoral is part of the Catholic Church, in addition to rites laden with syncretism has participated as in many other towns in meetings or conventions of indigenous peoples in the case of the year 2000, was the seat of the fifth meeting of the Lenca peoples leaving as a memory cross that commemorates this date.

SAN SEBASTIAN MARTINA.

FESTIVITIES

EASTER

FESTIVAL OF THE EARTH

 

Every year in Conchagua the festival of the land is commemorated, a feast that includes all the agricultural sector of the city as well as its cantons, this is organized jointly by several communal institutions, people gather to thank for the fruits of the mother earth, carrying various products as a result of planting, this festival takes place on August 27th. SANTIAGO APOSTOL
